Introduction to the Study
Welcome to our user study on AI-Generated Pictographic Data Visualizations!
The aim of the study is to explore how pictographic data visualizations can enhance the way we process and understand information.
During the study, you will be presented with different types of visual information and will be asked to answer questions. The correctness and speed of your answers will give us insights into how AI-Generated pictographs can impact cognitive performance. Specifically, we are interested in understanding how it can influence working memory, long-term memory, information retrieval efficiency, and concept grasping.
This user study consists of two consecutive sessions of around 20 minutes each: one session focused on regular bar charts and the other on pictographic visualizations.
